From the Airport by Car

1. Highway A1 direction Zurich (green sign), afterwards always follow the Zurich City sign and stay in the left lane;
2. The road will lead through a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, at the first set of traffic lights, turn left but keep in the right-hand lane, direction "City" (white sign);
3. At the next set of lights (next to the Hotel Marriott) turn right and stay in the right lane (you will have the river on your right hand side);
4. At the next set of traffic lights turn right, crossing over the bridge and keeping in the right-hand lane;
5. At the next set of lights (after the bridge) turn left, but keep in the right-hand lane in the direction of "Chur/Luzern" (the main station will now be on your right);
6. At the next set of traffic lights turn right (only possible way) and then change to the left-hand lane. On your left you will see our hotel and next to it the tram station. After the tram station, turn left and make a U-turn around the tram island and after 20 meters you will reach on the right-hand side the parking space in front of our hotel;
7. The parking lot in front of the hotel (3 car spaces) may only be used for unloading your luggage.

From the Airport by Train

1. The train station is situated on the underground level of the airport's shopping area;
2. Within the airport always follow the sign "railway" or "Bahn";
3. Before taking the last escalator going down to the train level, you will find a big blue timetable on your left hand side which indicates the times, destination and platform of the trains leaving within the next hour;
4. Check for trains going to "Zürich Hauptbahnhof", they run approx. every 10 min.;
5. You may buy your ticket either at the ticket counter or purchase it from one of the blue ticket machines, you will find both in the hall.
   Ticket machine: press red button for "Zürich City" select 1st or 2nd class. (The fares are for 1st class CHF 8.80 for 2nd class CHF 5.40);
6. The train ride to "Zurich Hauptbahnhof" (main station) takes 12 min.;
7. Arriving at Zurich Hauptbahnhof / main station:
8. Depending on which platform the train arrives on, you will have to go up to the street level;
9. From there head towards the "Bahnhofplatz", where you will see a fountain with a statue on it, right behind it you will find the Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich;
10. Our hotel is facing the main station, situated on the right hand side of the entrance to the famous Bahnhofstrasse.
